We are happy to announce the latest update of Vezér - version 1.5.3.
This update focusing on performance improvements and bug fixes (including a serious MIDI bug!), but there is also a little neat new feature as well, namely you can select Keyframes within the Working Area from now.
But back to the main topic: performance improvements. We've worked a lot on this update and we are proud about the results. With the new release, Vezér using far less CPU power to draw your Keyframes on the screen, and the enhancements we made are performing better as the project growth - this means, the bigger project, the higher number of Keyframes, means even better performance results compared to the previous release - see the charts below. Please note that, in our 2nd example, that project actually contains 30,000(!) Keyframes.
This enhancements also affect the over responsiveness of Vezér, so things like scrolling, moving higher number of Keyframes, etc. should be even smoother, especially with higher number of Keyframes, but Vezér also using less memory (RAM) from now. This update is free, and highly recommended for everyone - use the built-in updater to install the update, or download the latest version from the website.
Thanks to everyone for bug reports and suggestions during the beta period.
In 2016, we decided to raise the price of Vezér from the original $79 to $99. In the past 3 years we've released several major updates, with new features like Audio Tracks, DMX Tracks, Cues and OSC Flags, etc. The price never changed over the years, but as we think, Vezér worth more now than its original pricing. Of course, this change does not affect our current customers, all 1.x updates will be remain free.
