Vezér supports Color type Tracks, so you can send Color data to OSC or Art-Net destinations. The visual representation of this Track type is a bit different then the Value type Tracks - including Keyframes - since this kind of Tracks need to represent the color values over the time.
Color Keyframes
Keyframes of Color type Tracks are a bit different then other Keyframes, since they need to represent their color values.
- A Color Keyframe always be drawn by the color it represents.
- To change the Color of a Color Keyframe, you need to double-click on it which orders front the OSX color panel.
- You can select between linear interpolation and no interpolation between keyframes.
Copy-Paste Keyframes between Color and Value/Audio Tracks
When you copy-paste keyframes between Color type and Value type Tracks Vezér acts differently, since the data to creating keyframes more or less then needed. There are two cases in this circumstance:
- Paste Color Keyframes to Value type Tracks: the Color Keyframes will be converted to Value type Keyframes using the luminance of the corresponding RGB value.
- Paste Value Keyframe to Color type Tracks: Vezér will ask you how to use the value of those keyframes to convert to color - in other words, which channels need to be affected by the value of the source keyframe.
When copy-pasting standard keyframes to a Color type Track, using HSB color space now is also an option in addition to the RGB color space.
