CoGe released

CoGe has been released, with support for Vuo 1.2.3 and a couple of bug fixes. Vuo 1.2.3 adds several enhancements, including a couple of new projection mapping related nodes.

For a full list of fixes, please check out the changelog. Thanks to everyone who submitted bug reports and also thanks for  their help with testing out beta builds!

CoGe is a free update, grab it while it is hot – you can use the built-in updater or just download the latest version from the website.

4 years ago we’ve created and shared a Quartz Composer based NYE Countdown composition, which has been download and used by people hundreds of time. This year, we’ve created the same thing with Vuo, and you can download it here – hope you will like and use it! It conforms to the Vuo Image Generator protocol, so you can use it in CoGe, but since it using some special input parameters in requires CoGe, so don’t forget to update!

CoGe released with Vuo 1.1 support

The latest CoGe update includes the new Vuo 1.1 SDK to supports composition created with the updated Vuo – you can read about the new Vuo 1.1 features here but check out the video below too!

CoGe also makes the initialising process of Vuo compositions asynchronous, so the rendering won’t be blocked anymore while the Vuo SDK builds the composition in the background.

Additionally, the triggering speed of still images has been enhanced in this release and this release contains bug fixes as well – you can read about the all changes here.

CoGe 1.6.1 released

We are proud to announce the latest and greatest version of CoGe has been released, with a lot of changes and fixes – and here are the most important things about CoGe 1.6.1.

Major improvements in the rendering pipeline

The less fancy, but most important changes are under the hood. We did a lot of enhancement around rendering, so CoGe is not just more stable but even powerful for now. For example, the Preview window now able to draw with the same FPS as the Main Output, without losing any noticeable performance. But everything comes with a price: CoGe 1.6.1 requires at least OS X 10.7 Lion.
