Workshop: Augmented light space – Mapping with Led Lights

Posted on: August 13th, 2014

Our friends at gloWarp organising a 2 days long workshop about projection mapping and Led lights this October in Bari, Italy:

The new frontier of video mapping is the integration of the lights (like LED strip, or similar systems ) and their control via DMX protocol inside a performance of video mapping. The projection combined with lights allow you to achieve highly versatile light structures, that interact with the environment and the music, producing an innovation in the field of mapping and visual installations.

The softwares that will be use are Resolume, in the part devoted to videomapping, allow output management and warping, and Vezér, to control the lights. These two software will allow the management of a complete project audio video, complemented by video projections and led strip control.
Duration of the workshop: 2 days, 16 hours hours theoretical / practical on equipment and software used.
